Our goal is to utilize the gifts and talents of youth to further the kingdom of God.

Mission Academy Ministries is a 501c3 non-profit organization with a passionate commitment to helping students grow closer to Christ through life-changing week long missions trips, single day events, and weekend retreats.

Mission Academy organizes and manages your entire trip, allowing you to focus on what is most important — the ministry.


We work with our group leaders to completely cater each trip specifically for our teams, leaving you in full control of your schedule and what you would like to accomplish and experience.

Your students will work on a variety of projects in communities that are truly be grateful for your help. With our projects running year-round, your group will pick up where the last group left off as a part of our never ending effort to make a difference in communities desperately in need.

Their faith will be confronted, their eyes will be opened, and lifelong memories and friendships will be made as they experience God move in these new and unfamiliar environments.

Mike and Kelly Shinn live in Nashville, TN. Mike is the President and Executive Director of Mission Academy and Kelly is the CFO. They have served in student ministries for over 25 years and have years of experience in leading missions trips. Mike also served 10 years with Encuentro Youth Missions and assisted with program development and recruiting.
